Fall Community Social
The Bike Brigade will be hosting a fall social to celebrate another amazing season and welcome new riders. If you’re new to the Brigade and have never done a delivery before, or if you’ve done thousands, join us!
There will be food (vegan, Halal, and gluten-free options available), drinks, Bike Brigade Bingo, swag, plenty of great vibes, and an end of night CFTO run with any leftovers! We’d love to see you there.
Directions: via College St (no bike lane on this section ), Havelock or Shaw bike lanes; closest TTC station is Ossington
Accessibility: barrier-free entrance at street level; wheelchair-accessible and gender-neutral washrooms; masks will be available

Join our upcoming workshop series: Resisting Burnout with Collective Care and Solidarity with Vikki Reynolds, Phd All volunteers welcome!
Vikki will lead us through a two session workshop series on mental health in mutual aid work. In these workshops, we’ll be discussing vicarious trauma and burnout and how to resist this with collective care and solidarity.
We will examine the mean and hate -filled politics of the opioid catastrophe and homelessness and consider solidarity and justice-doing as a way of taking care of one another in this work that goes beyond the limits of self care.
To make these workshops more accessible, we will be hosting two sets of this series so that folks have more dates to choose from (October 13 & 20 OR October 24 & November 7)

Disability Community Brigaders Virtual Paint Night
Calling all Brigaders who are part of the disability community (disabled, spoonie, person with disabilities, neurodivergent, chronically ill, etc.)!
Come join us for a paint night to build community and talk disability things or just hangout and share space.
